He was born in the city of Florence, in Italian Tuscany, in May 1977. She is the daughter of American parents who worked for the United States Armed Forces in the transalpine country. A year after being born, the family returned to the United States, settling in a small town in New Jersey near the border with Pennsylvania.
After graduating from high school, and following in the footsteps of her parents, Alura decided to enlist in the Armed Forces, spending more than a decade working as a physical rehabilitation specialist for the Navy and Army. During this time, she married her first husband and gave birth to her two children. Her pregnancies caused her to gain weight, which led her to follow a strict exercise regime to regain shape, starting her passion for bodybuilding.
In 2010 she filed for divorce from her husband and leave the Armed Forces to move to Las Vegas, where she began working as a stripper at the Palomino Club. At this stage she also began as an erotic and bondage model.
